Round 1 highlights: Nursing Knowledge Assessment 2026 at Vietnam National Children’s Hospital

In celebration of International Nurses Day (12 May), from 13/04 to 23/04/2026, the Nursing Office of Vietnam National Children’s Hospital successfully organized Round 1 of the 2026 Nursing Knowledge Assessment, creating a lively learning and competition atmosphere across the Hospital.

Hospital nurses participated in Round 1 of the 2026 knowledge assessment.

This annual activity aims to assess and reinforce comprehensive knowledge for the nursing workforce, promote a culture of continuous learning, and enhance the quality of patient care. It also provides an opportunity for exchange and strengthens solidarity among nurses across Hospital units.

The program attracted 931 nurses working in 34 departments/offices/centers, including clinical services, diagnostic imaging, and infection prevention and control.

A total of 931 nurses took part in Round 1 of the 2026 professional knowledge assessment.

Participants completed an online multiple-choice test consisting of 40 questions in 30 minutes. The assessment covered key domains, including:

  • Basic and specialty nursing care knowledge
  • Infection prevention and control procedures and hospital management
  • Legal and regulatory documents related to professional practice
  • Communication skills and organizational culture

The online exam (40 questions/30 minutes) was conducted in auditoriums at Hospital departments and centers.

At the end of Round 1, based on test scores and practical performance evaluations by department leadership, 60 top-performing individuals will advance to Round 2 – the “Golden Bell Challenge” competition, scheduled for 12/05/2026. This meaningful activity encourages learning, strengthens professional skills, and recognizes the vital contributions of nurses in caring for and protecting children’s health.
