Speaking at the opening of the training course, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Duy Hien – Deputy Director of the National Children’s Hospital said that the situation of COVID-19 epidemic in the country is becoming more and more complicated, with outbreaks continuously appearing, new outbreaks in provinces and cities; accompanied by a rapid increase in the number of new cases. Therefore, Vietnam National Children’s Hospital organized a training course to improve surveillance, prevention, and strengthen measures to respond to, prevent and control COVID-19 at the hospital in order to detect early, isolate quickly, and prevent the spread of the virus. to omit cases at risk to the community; at the same time, update and improve the diagnostic and treatment capacity of COVID-19 caused by the new strain of Corona virus (SARS-CoV-2), thereby limiting complications and complications for patients.
