Following the success of the Programs and Projects on training primary care for pediatric-hospital interns in the locality at Muong Khuong General Hospital, Lao Cai; Nghia Dan Medical Center, Nghe An; Trieu Son General Hospital, Thanh Hoa – National Children’s Hospital first implemented this project at the commune level.
Attending the conference were Mr. Nguyen Duc Vinh – Director of Maternal and Child Health Department – Ministry of Health; Prof. Dr. Le Thanh Hai – Director of the National Children’s Hospital; Director of health facilities; Director of Provincial Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital; leaders of Tam Diep city; leaders of Tam Diep City Medical Center and comrades, leaders of functional and professional departments, doctors and nurses of the National Children’s Hospital and the medical station in Tam Diep city.
Right after the opening ceremony, a basic pediatric emergency training course was held for nearly 100 medical staff in Yen Son commune, Tam Diep Medical Center and neighboring communes.
