Believe in herbal doctor, many children suffer
According to Dr. Le Ngoc Duy, although doctors have repeatedly warned about the serious infection of burns, even life-threatening due to treatment with herbal leaves, many people still believe in the miraculous effects of this method. In fact, there are patients who, after applying leaves, have deep necrosis of the burn area, require a very complicated skin graft, a long treatment time, leaving many sequelae for the patient.
Therefore, the doctor recommends that parents should not treat their children with leaves and plants of unknown origin. If accidentally burned, one should keep the patient away from the burning agent, lightly bandage or cover the wound with gauze, a clean cloth, and then quickly take the patient to the nearest medical facility for emergency treatment.
