From 25 November to 4 December 2025, Vietnam National Children’s Hospital warmly welcomed a delegation of medical experts from the Association for the Development of Vietnamese Surgery (ADCV), France, for a program of professional exchange and collaboration.
On 25 November 2025, hospital leaders and staff formally received the ADCV delegation, led by Ms. Ghislaine Pautard, Member of the Association. The delegation included experienced nursing experts specializing in areas such as surgery, pediatrics, neonatology, cardiology, and anesthesia–intensive care.

Representing Vietnam National Children’s Hospital at the reception were Assoc. Prof. Pham Duy Hien, Vice Director, Dr. Bui Thi Thuy, Head of the Nursing Department, Dr. Tran Thi Thanh Hang, Head of the International Cooperation Department, along with senior nurse leaders from key departments and centers.
Established as a non-profit organization, the ADCV brings together highly experienced physicians and nurses from a range of clinical and surgical disciplines, many of whom hold leadership roles in hospitals in the Limoges region of France.
In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Pham Duy Hien expressed his pleasure in welcoming the ADCV experts and emphasized that their engagement would not only provide the hospital’s nursing teams with access to up-to-date professional knowledge but also contribute to improving care processes, enhancing patient safety, and increasing overall patient satisfaction. He further underscored the importance of international partnerships in advancing the quality and effectiveness of pediatric healthcare services for children in Viet Nam.

On behalf of the French delegation, Ms. Ghislaine Pautard thanked Vietnam National Children’s Hospital for its gracious hospitality and reaffirmed the delegation’s commitment to sharing expertise and supporting training activities that contribute to the development of pediatric healthcare in Viet Nam.

During the working sessions, both sides agreed plans to enhance professional knowledge for nursing staff across priority areas such as neonatal care, safe blood management, and rational use of medications.

As part of the programme from 26 November to 4 December 2025, the ADCV experts conducted clinical observations and professional exchanges at the Neonatal Center, Neurology Center, Pharmacy Department, Clinical Hematology Department, and the Nursing Department, fostering practical insights and mutual learning.
