On October 24, 2025, Vietnam National Children’s Hospital (VNCH) warmly welcomed a delegation from Aijinkai Healthcare Corporation, Japan. The visit aimed to strengthen mutual understanding, share professional experiences, and explore future cooperation opportunities in pediatric training and development.
The Aijinkai delegation was led by Mr. Hideyuki Takaoka, Chairman of the Corporation, accompanied by Mr. Masaaki Matsubara, Director; Mr. Tomokazu Yamamura, Head of the International Cooperation Department; and representatives from the International Cooperation Office.
On behalf of VNCH, Assoc/Prof. Pham Duy Hien, Vice Director of the Hospital, received the delegation, joined by Dr. Vu Manh Hoan, Deputy Director of the Center for General Surgery, and Ms. Tran Thi Thu Trang, Deputy Head of the International Cooperation Department.

Founded in Japan’s Kansai region, Aijinkai Healthcare Corporation is one of the country’s three leading medical groups, providing community healthcare and social welfare services. During the meeting, both sides discussed directions for future collaboration, particularly in medical training and research.

Mr. Takaoka praised VNCH’s professional excellence and its role as the country’s top pediatric referral hospital. He expressed Aijinkai’s interest in developing partnerships in training and scientific exchange, aiming to enhance pediatric care capacity in both nations.

In his remarks, Assoc/Prof. Pham Duy Hien introduced the hospital’s development achievements and reaffirmed VNCH’s readiness to welcome Aijinkai’s doctors and students for clinical training and professional exchange. He emphasized the hospital’s commitment to building a sustainable training partnership that will allow young medical staff to access Japan’s advanced medical technologies and promote mutual exchange between the two institutions.

Following the meeting, the Japanese delegation visited VNCH’s Center for General Surgery, where they highly appreciated the hospital’s modern facilities and the application of high technologies in the diagnosis and treatment of complex pediatric conditions.
