As part of their official mission to Singapore, a delegation from Vietnam National Children’s Hospital (VNCH), led by Associate Professor Dr. Tran Minh Dien – Director of the Hospital—participated in a working program and cooperation discussions with the National University Hospital (NUH) of Singapore from July 30-31, 2025.
The visit aimed to develop training and scientific research opportunities, as well as facilitate the exchange of professional expertise across various pediatric medical fields.
On July 30, the VNCH delegation received a warm welcome from NUH. They toured several key clinical and treatment units, gaining valuable insight into the hospital’s organizational model, operational procedures, and standards of pediatric care at one of Singapore’s premier medical institutions.
During the discussions, both parties explored several promising areas for collaboration, which included:
- Clinical training and research programs
- Joint participation in seminars, workshops, conferences, and scholarly publications
- Scholarship opportunities for medical professionals, aimed at facilitating knowledge exchange and patient care experience
- Insight-sharing on clinical service planning, quality assurance, and NUH’s digital transformation journey
The working session concluded with open, pragmatic exchanges focused on improving the quality of pediatric healthcare services. This visit holds significant potential to lay the groundwork for a sustainable and effective partnership between the two hospitals.
